Instead of rule 30 of the original regulation, the following rule 30 has been placed:-

“30. Rankless and gazetted fifth category posts: (1) The posts of the same type of work in which skills are developed based on experience as per Schedule-8 are considered as rankless posts.

(2) According to sub-rule (1) civil servants working in unclassified positions, if they want to be included in the category according to sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Act, they will be maintained in the gazetted unclassified fifth category.

(3) According to sub-rule (2) gazette Civil servants who are retained in the unlisted fifth category will not receive a reduction in their previous salary. When a civil servant who has completed his service period as per compulsory retirement, he shall be promoted to the post of the third category unlisted in the gazette and retired according to that section. Civil servants can also participate."
